Seaplane transfer – Seaplane
The transfer is provided by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA).
Today, the company has in its arsenal 41 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft (series 100, 200 and 300) and 3 aircraft of new Viking DHC-6 Twin Otter modifications (series 400). Can transport – 15 passengers, in standard configuration.
Flights are made upon request from resorts and booked in hotels at the same time as accommodation;
Transfer by seaplane is possible only during daylight hours;
The schedule is formed 1-2 days before the flight;
The airline reserves the right to postpone the flight for a day due to bad weather conditions. In this case, hotels do not refund payment for unused nights of accommodation and other related expenses;
Seaplane waiting time from 30 minutes to 2 hours
Intermediate stops (boarding) in other hotels on the way to the destination are possible.
The seaplane terminal in the Maldives has three parts. There are general waiting rooms, VIP rooms, and halls from resorts. At the service of tourists: satellite TV, free WI-FI, air conditioning, flight information system, a cafe and an open terrace.
