An individual transfer in Maldives involves a trip to the destination with boarding of other tourists on other companion islands and does not involve the presence of a guide. The following types of transfers are available:

  • seaplane – seaplane;
  • domestic / air / plane – domestic airlines;
  • speed boat – speed boat;
  • dhoni – local dhoni boat;
  • bus, taxi – only for Male and Hulhumale.

Private transfer (without picking up other tourists and without stops on the way) is designated as Private Transfer or VIP transfer.
